Grows to 12". The flowers have purple buds which open to a pale yellow to purplish flower with four twisted petals. The seed pods are long, narrow and point upwards.
Heart-shaped, blue-green, waxy leaves clasp the lower stem. Basal leaves are spatula-shaped and toothed.

Grows to 24" high. The purple flower buds open to a tiny, yellowish urn-shaped flower which produce a long, drooping seedpod.
Leaves are long, narrow and bluish-green. Basal leaves may have wavy, toothed edges.
