This is a native of Europe and an escapee from cultivation in the US and can be invasive. It grows to 8" high and 3 feet wide creeping and climbing in dense patches. The leaves are glossy, leathery and evergreen. The flower is 1" across with five petals that can be blue, lavender or white.
