Habitat:

Grows to 60ft with bright white to grayish chalky bark. Aspen grow in dense stands by putting out suckers.
Long stalks on the leaves make them flutter or quake in the slightest breeze.
The 'eyes' on the trunks are where limbs have fallen away.
In September most leaves turn golden but some stands are orange or red.
