Grows to 6ft tall in an open, straggly, many branched, form with a reddish stem and sparse, narrow, 3" leaves with smooth edges.

The tiny white to lavender flowers grow in dense clusters at the end of the stalks and produce many 2 inch long seed pods. The pods grow horizontally to the stem or curve upwards.

Habitat: Rocky hillsides, canyons, stream banks

Grows over 7ft tall with many branches. Leaves have smooth or toothed edges. The flowers are white to lavender and grow in looser clusters producing many 3 inch long seed pods. The pods grow horizontally to the stem or curve downwards.
